Rare Jem is a gorgeous correct filly with a beautiful hind end and stands 16 hands. Her potential lies in any direction.
Her sire, Romantic Star, is an Elite License Class I Hanoverian and has premium status with the ISR. Romantic Star had a successful dressage career and now has a successful show hunter career with his new owner, Gray Fox Farms. Her dam, Dark Diamond, a Trakehner, has great bone and substance, was a Master's mount, and has a "been there, done that" attitude, which she passes on to all of her foals. Jem is registered ISR.
Jem had 3 months of training as a 3 year old with Olin Armstrong at Hidden Hollow in Stauton, VA. She was started in February 2010. Currently we are continuing her education on the flat (awesome mover) and trotting small fences. Her education as a 4 year old included participating in 3 Fun Hunter Paces and she hill topped with the Warrenton Hunt November 2011. Check the news page for more information on her education.
