This is Misty, our new family member. A 10 year old Golden Retriever who was surrendered to the Fauquier SPCA. She has now found her forever home.

The new shed is almost done. Boy, Ranger will love that! We also got a used 2-horse trailer for trucking around town locally. With the new paint job, you'd never know that it was a 1996 Bison.

Lucky has really slimmed down and is feeling like a normal, happy dog now. She no longer waddles! Do you think our horses are a little bit spoiled?

Lookin' good!      Just a tad spoiled!

This is our new rig. It's a 2004 EquiSpirit 4 horse gooseneck trailer. It is sweet, with the capability of converting both ends of the trailer into box stalls for hauling the mares and foals to the shows!

Our newest addition is Lucky, a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. She fits right in with our lifestyle and is the sweetest thing. She's an SPCA rescue that we discovered has a thyroid problem. We've had her a month and has lost 10 - 12 lbs already! Since being on the medicine, she has gotten much more active and is feeling much better in general. She has her quirky habits...sit on one step and front legs on the other, couches are dog beds, and good things come from under the grill!

Our barn frame was built by Morton's Buildings, however Tom built everything inside the walls (except for laying the asphalt and concrete)! He had some help from friends and family but we just followed directions! We are very proud of our barn! It has two foaling stalls with a tack/foaling observation room between them, wash stall with hot/cold water, and 4 standard stalls.

Our Barn - Tom did a great job on the tongue and groove!   Our Barn!   Foaling stalls with tack/observation room in between.   Our Barn.

Our tack room also serves as a foaling observation room. We have windows with blinds into each of the foaling stalls (for the mare's privacy), heat, tv, stereo, etc. It's not completed yet. There are shelves, storage cabinets, wall paper border, and curtains to go up yet. Certainly don't want to finish everything at once. Again Tom did an outstanding job! He has built our dream barn!
